I am first and foremost an artist, straight down to my marrow. Always have been, always will. Photography is just one of my many creative outlets but it is the one that I find brings me the most fulfillment. There's nothing better than bringing joy to people with my images.

THIS IS WHO I AM

I love books, drawing paper, coffee, trucks and fast cars, taking the road less traveled (especially in a fast car or 4x4), dogs, being a wife and step-mom, the great outdoors and traveling. So far, Ireland has been my favorite destination. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love snow and brisk, beautiful Colorado days. 

I'm a laid back person. I'm just not that excitable. But I'm FIERCELY passionate when it counts. I have a perfectionist streak that makes my husband laugh at me. I think that perfectionism drives me to be a better artist and photographer. Personally, I think I have a great sense of humor. I believe sarcasm is an art form. I stink at telling jokes.

I am married to a native Coloradoan but I am a transplant from Washington state. I moved here for art school, fell in love and the rest is history! I still consider Washington my soul's home but Colorado is a close second. I miss Washington's ocean and beaches, trees, mountains and yes, even the rain.
